Cauliflower Pepper Fry Close up

Having Cauliflower and lazy to make anything special out of it? Try this recipe. You will love it for its simple and scrumptious flavor. I don’t deep fry cauliflowers often. So, my all-time favorite recipe is this Cauliflower pepper fry. This curry tastes best with Lemon rice and Pepper Rasam. There is nothing much to describe about this recipe, so I’ll jump into the process of making this recipe 🙂

Ingredients

Cauliflower – 1 head
Frozen/Fresh Peas – 1/4 cup
Pepper – 1 tbsp
Salt – as needed
Chopped Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

To Temper

Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1tsp
Ajwain/Omam – a pinch

Method

  1. Chop Cauliflower into medium florets. Blanch it in boiling water for 6 mins or microwave it for 6 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Now add Jeera and Ajwain and let jeera crackle.
  3. Then, add Cauliflower, peas, salt, pepper and stir well.
